Our Story
Lumbri Worms & Garden, LLC is a Black-owned, female-led, family-operated business rooted in a love for gardening and sustainability.
My journey into worm farming began with a simple desire—to enrich my garden with high-quality worm castings. Like many gardeners, I initially purchased castings from a well-known company, only to realize how expensive they were. After doing some research, I discovered that store-bought worm castings often sit on shelves for long periods, drying out and losing much of their beneficial microbiology.
Determined to do better, I invested in pure red wiggler worms and started producing my own fresh, nutrient-rich worm castings for my garden and houseplants. Before long, I had an abundance of both worms and castings, far more than I needed.
And that’s how Lumbri Worms & Garden, LLC was born—a small but thriving worm farm dedicated to providing high-quality, fresh worm castings, pure red wiggler worms (Eisenia Fetida), European Nightcrawlers (Eiseniahortensis or Dendrobaena veneta), and other worm farming products. We are humbled as we continue inspiring others to do the same.
