At LUMBRI WORMS & GARDEN, LLC, we believe healthy soil and healthy food begin with healthy biology.

Our mission is to help gardeners, homesteaders, educators, farmers, and eco-conscious families grow naturally through the power of vermiculture and gourmet mushroom cultivation.

We specialize in premium composting worms, worm castings, living soil amendments, composting systems, gourmet mushrooms, mushroom grow kits, dehydrated mushrooms, mushroom powders, mushroom seasoning/finishing salt, and educational resources that make regenerative gardening simple and accessible.

We believe nature already has the answers. Earthworms recycle organic matter into living soil, while fungi unlock nutrients, improve soil biology, and produce delicious, nutritious food. Together they create a healthier ecosystem—from the soil beneath our feet to the food on our tables.

Our Story

LUMBRI WORMS & GARDEN, LLC is a Black-owned, female-led, family-operated business built on a passion for sustainable gardening, regenerative agriculture, and sharing knowledge with others.

My journey began with a simple goal—to grow healthier plants using fresh, living worm castings. After purchasing expensive commercial castings, I learned that many products lose much of their beneficial microbial life while sitting on store shelves. I knew there had to be a better way.

I invested in pure Red Wiggler worms and began producing my own fresh worm castings for my gardens and houseplants. Before long, I had more worms and castings than I could use myself, and what started as a personal gardening project quickly grew into a thriving business.

Today, we proudly raise premium Red Wigglers (Eisenia fetida) and European Nightcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis), produce fresh worm castings, worm tea, composting systems, and living soil products that help gardeners naturally build healthier soil.

As our passion for regenerative growing continued to grow, so did our farm.

We expanded into cultivating gourmet mushrooms, including Lion's Mane, Golden Oyster, Blue Oyster, Pink Oyster, Chestnut, Shiitake, King Oyster, and other specialty varieties. We also offer mushroom grow kits, dehydrated mushrooms, mushroom powders, and mushroom seasonings while teaching people how fungi and beneficial soil biology work together to create stronger plants, healthier gardens, and more sustainable food systems.

Today, LUMBRI WORMS & GARDEN is more than a worm farm. We are a regenerative agriculture education company dedicated to helping people transform kitchen scraps into compost, build living soil, grow gourmet mushrooms, reduce waste, and reconnect with nature.

"LUMBRI" comes from Lumbricina, the scientific classification of earthworms—a fitting name for a company dedicated to nurturing the soil, growing healthy food, and inspiring the next generation of regenerative growers.
