Ambrosia cantaloupe is a hybrid melon variety that has been the most popular variety in home gardens for over 20 years. This melon variety has a beautiful, salmon-colored interior that’s sweet, crisp, and absolutely delicious! These cantaloupe melons are, on average, 6 inches in diameter and can weigh up to 5 pounds each. Ambrosia cantaloupes have a small seed cavity, which means more edible goodness per fruit. Plants are vigorous and resistant to powdery mildew.  One of the sweetest and aromatic melons for home gardeners.

How to Grow Your Ambrosia Hybrid Cantaloupe Melon Seeds:

• Suggested Planting Depth: ¼ inch in cells under lights
• May be started early under lights indoors and gently transplanted outside in approximately 3 weeks
• Suggested Direct seeding Planting Depth: Sow to ½ -1 inch
• Suggested Planting Seasons:  Spring or Summer
• Suggested Final Plant Spacing: 36-48 inches apart
• Suggested Planting Configuration: Single Row or Double Wide row block (4 feet spacing between each row)
• Maintain a weed-free mulched plant bed in Full sun and with adequate moisture.
