Crookneck squash is a type of yellow summer squash with bulbous bodies and long, often quite curved necks. It has a mild flavor and firm texture. Pick when about 2-inches in diameter and 5- to 6-inches in length. When they get older, their skin hardens and thickens, and their seeds become harder.  Bush type growth habit.
