The worms were all dead. As soon as I received the text that the package was delivered, I rushed home (10-15 mins) and opened to introduce them to the compost and both orders of red wigglers were dead and warm in temperature. An ice pack was present but was warm as well and not large enough to keep anything cool.  I’ve ordered live animals through mail before and companies went above and beyond to make sure they arrived alive. I’ve sent Lumbri an email addressing this issue with no response. So I literally just gave strangers 70 bucks for 2,000 dead worms.

USPS shows your order was delivered to your front door/porch at 1:25 PM on August 6. At 1:28 PM—only three minutes later—we personally texted you advising that the worms needed to be retrieved immediately and could not safely remain outdoors.
While you state the package was retrieved 10–15 minutes later, we cannot independently verify how long it remained outside or the worms’ condition at the time of delivery.
Our published Live Arrival Guarantee requires prompt retrieval and dead-arrival claims within 2 hours with photos/video and the shipping label. You also had our direct business cell number, and we were available to assist immediately. We have been unable to locate the email referenced in your review.

I am very happy with the purchase of the.Red wiggler worms. It seems like it took about two weeks for me to see a difference in the fullness of my plants. That raised bed continues to do extremely well, compared to my other two, raused beds that did not get worms. Definitely plan to purchase more next weekend!!

I have to say this was a seamless transaction of some fine composting red wigglers from start to finish. Seller was always communicating where and when I would receive my wigglers and even let me know exactly when they arrived on my porch! I’d give 10 stars if I could!
