Deerfield Purple Heirloom Garlic Cloves produces large, meaty purple stripe garlic with a rich garlic flavor that starts out mild and finishes with a spicy kick. Like other hard-neck garlic varieties, Deerfield performs best in cooler climates and is best planted in the fall. These organic garlic seeds are certified organic, and disease-free. The garlic variety grows a single ring of cloves around a stem.

  • Suggested Planting Depth: Plant  1 inch depth in a slightly raised ridge.
  • Suggested Planting Seasons: Fall
  • Suggested Final Plant Spacing: 6 inches apart.
  • Suggested Planting Configuration: Single Row or Double Wide row block properly mulched to 6 inches deep.
  • Maintain a weed-free plant bed in Full sun and with adequate moisture.
